Memorial Tree Registry

Memorial Trees purchased through our website are planted by the Arbor Day Foundation, which selects forests in need of reforestation. We are frequently asked where the trees are planted. 

When a tree is purchased, the purchaser can select a specific forest for the tree from a list created by the Arbor Day Foundation. Or, they can simply select "A Forest In Need." That information will be included in a listing in the Arbor Day Online Tree Registry.

You can search the Arbor Day Online Tree Registry to see where your loved one’s memorial tree has been planted.

Click the button below to visit the registry. Change the Registry drop-down menu to “Trees in Memory," and then search for your loved one’s name.

Please keep in mind that if the person purchasing the tree did not pick a specific forest, your tree will be labeled simply as planted in “A Forest in Need."
