Patricia (Kearns) Roemer, passed away suddenly on the evening of August 10, 2021. A graduate of Guilderland Central High School, she also attended Schenectady County Community College.
Patty spent several years as a private duty Health Care Assistant. Still, her primary life role was that of a loving mother and devoted wife. Patty enjoyed the creative arts through cooking, baking, ceramics, and holiday decorating for every occasion. She had an astute talent for drawing and jewelry design which was enjoyed by many. She loved nature, particularly exploring Yellow Hill of the Pine Bush and many adventures in Thatcher Park.
Patty's pets were an essential part of her life. She leaves behind Faith, her Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue dog, and Chance, a yellow fur ball of a cat she also rescued. We hope she has reunited with her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Rascal, and is endlessly throwing enormous sticks that he struggles to retrieve.
Patty always managed to find the best ice cream, even if it meant everyone must endure a sugar-free treat. We will miss her laughing blue eyes, her precious smile, and the joy she brought to every room she entered.
Patty leaves behind her loving husband of 31 years, Walter Roemer, her children, Chad Roemer (son) and Sara F. Roemer (daughter), future son-in-law, Alan Aleschus, and her mother-in-law, Janith Roemer. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Danko, siblings Janet (Irving) Colliton, Harold (Deborah) Kearns, Dale (Michael) Tobler, Debra (Michael) Moro, Ronald (Audrey) Kearns, and Kathleen Hognestad. She is pre-deceased by her father, Harold Kearns, Sr., stepfather, Frank Danko, and brother-in-law, Paul Hognestad.
