John M. Drummond

ESPERANCE - John Millar Drummond, 83 of Esperance passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at St Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam

He was born in Scotland and was the son of the late John and Mary Drummond.  John was a Professional Technology Officer in the Ministry of Defense, UK.  After retirement he work for Home Depot in hardware.  He has served in  the Royal Air Force, UK.

John loved to horseback ride, driving his donkey, camping,  DIY, sailing and running. He even ran the London Marathon. For years, John was an exhibitor in the draft horse barn (Donkey Lane) at the Schoharie County Sunshine Fair which was the highlight of the year for him.   He was a member of the NYS Horse Council and the Eastern Draft Horse Association.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Eliza Soto Drummond, his children  John Drummond, Stewart Drummond, Roger Dubois, and Fiona Drummond of the United Kingdom. He was predeceased by his siblings, William Drummond, David Drummond,  Donald Drummond and Helen Drummond McKenzie.
