Daniel H. Bailey, Jr.

Daniel H. Bailey Passed away suddenly on September 12, 2021 at his home in Watervliet NY.  He was 53 years old.

Born in Albany, he was the son of Barbara Bailey (Bertrand) and Ralph Johnson (Denny) and stepson to Daniel H. Bailey Sr. who preceded him in death.

Manny attended the Albany Public Schools and had extraordinary athletic capabilities.  He loved sports (he was a die-hard Yankee & Giants fan), he loved music, shopping for Polo Wear and traveling.  He will forever be remembered for his kind heart, his big smile, that distinctive voice and friendly nature.

Manny leaves to mourn four children: Madaya Clineak Bailey (Bootsy), Niah Simone Bailey (Dechelle), Tierney Violet Bailey (Kerri), and stepson, Exzavion Jalell Willingham (Bootsy).  Four Grandchildren: Romello Bailey, Rozaria Bailey, Rosabella Bailey & Exzavion (EJ) Willingham Jr., all of Albany NY.

He also leaves to mourn three sisters: Denise Watson (Jahkiem & Saharia), Sherry Blanchard Smith (Naise, Danay, Shank, Saul, Davonne and Nika) all of Albany NY and Denise Bailey of Chatham NY.  Two brothers: Ralph (Man) Beasley (Shatasha) of Albany NY and Brian Bailey of Atlanta, GA.  Two Special Aunts: Valerie Johnson and Rose Bertrand.  Four special cousins: Joe Bertrand (Lil Joe), Jason Bertrand (Lil Jay), Andrew Bertrand (Andy) and Michelle Bertrand (Mickey) and a host of extended family and lifelong friends.

A callling hour will be held from 11am to 12 noon followed by a memorial service at 12 noon Friday Sept 24, at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie.
