Wilfrid Dupuis

Colonie – Wilfrid Dupuis, 95, of Colonie, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Chesham, Quebec, Canada and was the son of the late Arthur and Josephine Dupuis. Wilfrid was predeceased by his beloved wife Simone in 2010.

He was a lumberjack in his younger days and worked many years as a carpenter with Local 291 in Albany. Wilfrid belonged to the Adirondack Fiddlers Club, the Bristol CT. Old Tyme Fiddlers and the West Albany Rod & Gun Club. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

Wilfrid is the devoted father of Patricia (Larry) Krushinsky, Bonita (Marty) Brecht, Martine (Bruce) Male, David (Sandra) Dupuis and the late Thomas J. Dupuis (Donna survives). He is the cherished Pepere’ of 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Wilfrid’s family on Thursday March 09, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:00 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Latham. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
