Warren H. Enos

COLONIE – Warren H. Enos, 92, of Colonie, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born in Colonie and was the son of the late Harold and Viola Enos.

Warren proudly served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Kenton in the Pacific. He retired from the South Colonie School District as a maintenance mechanic. Warren was a founding member of the Robert L. Weininger VFW Post 8692 in Colonie.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, bird watching, his dogs and cats and spending time with his cherished family.

He was predeceased by his wives, Elizabeth June Chambers Enos and Irene O’Toole Enos.

Warren is the father of Gregory (Robin) Enos, Mary Jo-An (Jeff) Nagell, Catherine Sue Enos, Warren Charles (Donna) Enos, Nancy (Richard) Wheeler, Lynn (Matt) Wertman, William (Molly) Enos and Beth (Robert) Overbaugh. He is the grandfather of Megan Enos, Rebecca (Michael) Filipovich, Kimberly Nagell, Gregory (Jessica) Nagell, John Evan Enos, Amy (Axel) Enos, Nicole Enos, Jamie Enos, Joey (Amanda) Enos, Andrea (Josh) Overbaugh, Tabitha Overbaugh, and James Overbaugh. He is the great grandfather of Charlotte, Rosaleigh, RJ, Shylia, Joey Jr., Alexavier, Logan and Evelyn. Warren is the dear cousin of Mary Elizabeth Wirchansky along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend memorial services on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 12 noon at Woestina Reformed Church, Rotterdam Junction. A reception in celebration of Warren’s life will follow.
