Warren G. Bennett Jr.

June 13, 1947 — August 21, 2024

Colonie - Warren G. Bennett Jr., 77, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center.

He was born in Niskayuna and was the son of the late Warren G.  and Leona Bennett Sr. Warren is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Tammy Wilson Bennett; his children, Warren G. Bennett III and Cheiree (Craig) Driggs. He is Grandpa Warren to Syler Driggs and many others. Warren is the brother of Bonnie Urso and the late Jeffrey Bennett (Kathy survives). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Warren proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was the owner of 45 Restoration Company for fifty years. Warren also played in several bands throughout his early years. Warren was a big kid and will be remembered for his unique sense of humor.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Warren’s family on Monday from 4:00-6:30 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie. The funeral service will follow at 6:30pm. Interment will be private at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
