Walter S. Urbanski, Jr.

SCHENECTADY – Walter S. Urbanski, Jr., 69, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Ellis Hospital.

He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Walter S. and Rita Marx Urbanski Sr. Walt was the brother of the late Marlene Urbanski.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Meg Learnan Urbanski; his son John Urbanski and his daughter, Katrina Urbanski (Patricia Grande); his grandson Dominic Urbanski Grande; his siblings, Susan, Karen, Ed (Kathy) Urbanski and Rita (Dan) Papandrea. Walt is the nephew of Florence Whitney and Alice Urbanski. He is the cousin of Mary Marx. Walt is also survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and cousins.

Walt retired from LaFarge-Holcim in Ravena as Safety and Health Coordinator. He enjoyed fishing on Trout Lake and vacationing on Cape Cod.
