Vincent "Chick" W. Glatz

COLONIE – Vincent “Chick” W. Glatz, 71, of Colonie, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Albany and was the beloved son of Regina Coyne. Vincent was honorably discharged from the US Navy. He worked for the local Laborers Union during the construction of the Empire State Plaza. Vincent was an exceptional baseball and football player. He had also been a professional bowler. He enjoyed hunting, following politics and watching the Yankees and New York Giants. He will be remembered as a wonderful conversationalist.

He is survived by the love of his life, Susan J. Mealo. He is the brother-in-law of Jack (Linda) MacHaffie. Vincent loved his little buddies, Aidan, Jack and Harley.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Vincent’s family on Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. A prayer service will follow at 6 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens at a later date.
