Veronica M. Pettograsso

LOUDONVILLE – Veronica M. Pettograsso, 88, of Loudonville, passed into the hands of her Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2019 after a brief illness.

She was born in Troy and was the daughter of the late Guy Frasier and Angela Russell Frasier. Veronica was predeceased by her husband, Joseph (Bianco) Pettograsso, her son Michael, her granddaughter Dorothy Veronica Finn and her sisters, Catherine Desautels, Jane Cote and Anne Weir.

Veronica was raised at the former St. Vincent’s Orphanage and worked at St. Joseph’s Infant Home in Troy. She was dedicated to her cherished family. Veronica never missed a family members birthday. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother “Gree”.

Veronica is the mother of Christine Pettograsso, Gerald (Debi) Pettograsso, Ronald (Bonnie) Pettograsso, Angela Pettograsso (David Lee), Mary Kay (Jerry) Hoogkamp and Christopher (Melissa) Pettograsso. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is the beloved friend of 85 years to Florence Harbour.

Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 1:00 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Veronica’s family on Monday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110 in memory of Veronica M. Pettograsso.
