Thomas M. Cox

Colonie, NY - Thomas M. Cox, 28, of Plaske Drive died suddenly Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Albany Medical Center.

Born January 7, 1991 in Albany, NY, he was the son of John Cox and Robin VanZandt.

Tom grew up in Colonie and was a 2009 graduate of Colonie High School where he played on the Varsity Basketball Team.  He then graduated from Hudson Valley Community College. He was employed at Dyntek Services.

He leaves his father John Cox (Danielle),  mother Robin VanZandt, and two brothers Tyler and Jackson all of Colonie; his maternal grandparents Robert and Frances VanZandt of Niskayuna as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Grandparents Thomas and Shirley Cox and Francis Kowalski all pre-deceased him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Thursday, January 17 at St. Pius X Church,  23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville, NY. Burial will follow at Memory’s Garden in Colonie.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, January 16 at the St. Pius X Church.
