Thomas M. Breen

ALBANY – Thomas M. Breen, 76, of Albany, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Shaker Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Albany and attended Philip Schuyler High School. Tom served in the US Army as a line cook, during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years as a manager for Alpart & Pearson Paint Store  and American Seal Paint Store in Albany. Tom was an avid sports fan and faithfully followed the New York Mets.

He was the son of the late Thomas and Florence Breen. Tom is the brother of Patricia McWatters, Shirley Green, Joseph (Chris) Breen, Kathleen (Jim) Teller, Helen Bagley, Michael (Gary) Breen, Arthur (Bethany) Breen, Kevin (Paula) Breen and the late Margaret and Robert Breen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tom’s family is most grateful to the wonderful staff at Cambridge Assisted Living and Shaker Place for the kind and compassionate care of our brother.

Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00, prior to the service.
