Thelma W. (Williams) Emans, 97, of Emans Road passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived there unitl her family moved to Lakeville, Connecticut where they lived in a beautiful home name “Bywood”. They then move to Goshen, CT and lived in the farm until her late teen years.

In addition to being a quintessential homemaker and a loving wife to Francis Emans, Thelma was employed as a cashier for many years at the A&P Supermarket in LaGrangeville.  She will be remembered for her loving support to her family and her delicious family meals.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband (of 50 years) Francis Emans; a son Richard Emans; and her sisters June Schwab, Gladys Tobler, and Esther Perret.

She leaves a grandson Jason (Susan) Emans of Albany, NY; a granddaughter Amanda Emans of Mableton, GA; a great- granddaughter Jaqueline; a sister Violet Vaill of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned.
