Tami A. Murray

COLONIE – Tami A. Murray, 50, of Colonie, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born in Albany and is the daughter of James F. Kenneally and the late Mary J. Kenneally. Tami has worked as a State Programs Compliance Specialist with CDPHP in Albany for over twenty years.

She was a loving mom, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Tami loved to travel and was  always game for family adventures. She loved the ocean, Disney, hummingbirds, taking photos and her view from the front window. She was a beloved employee of Darling Coffee.

Tami is the beloved wife of twenty-five years to Peter J. Murray III. She is the cherished Mother of Kimberly J. Murray. Tami is the sister of Michael (Debbie) Kenneally. She is the daughter-in-law of Elizabeth Murray and the late Peter J. Murray Jr. She is the sister-in-law of Louise (Dan) Sullivan, Joseph (Jennifer) Murray and Carol (Jeffrey) Dunn. Tami is the dear aunt of Paige and Isabella Kenneally, Daniel, Josh, Brett, Julia, Emily, Jessica and Ashley. She will be missed by her beloved puppies Missy, Maggie and Blaze; her cat and “favorite coworker” Franklin.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Tami’s family on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:30 at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
