Susan Barbone Torosian

COHOES – Susan Barbone Torosian, 81, of Cohoes, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Annette Barbone. She is predeceased by her brother Ralph Barbone, and long-term companion, Peter Pelton. Susan is survived by her daughter and son Patrick Torosian (Cathy), her sister-in-law, Chris Barbone, and her niece Elizabeth Barbone (Greg Meuer). She is also survived by her former husband, Joseph Torosian.

Susan graduated from Academy of the Holy Names and Hudson Valley Community College. She very much enjoyed her work as a dental hygienist at the Albany Medical Center Dental Clinic. She loved spending time with and entertaining friends, swimming, and gardening. Susan was good-hearted - always had a smile, a warm welcome, and a willingness to lend a helping hand. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 04, 2024 at 11 am at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10 to 11 at the funeral home, prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
