ALBANY- Shirley J. Nobles, 86, of Colonie, passed away peacefully at the Inn of Community Hospice on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Shufelt and Harriet Sloan. Shirley was employed for many years with the South Colonie School District. She enjoyed music and adored her family and friends.
Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband Theodore (Ted) Nobles in 2008. She is the dear mother of Theodora “Teddie” (Walter) Ruchalski, Theodore “Ted” (Dorita) Nobles and Helen (Paul) Pierce. Shirley is the sister of the late Harry Shufelt. She is the cherished grandmother of Jodi Ruchalski, Lisa (Jon) Godfrey, Susan (Jonathan) Bright, Paul (Jennifer) Pierce and Robert (Elif) Nobles. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12 noon at Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany. Calling hours will be Wednesday morning from 10 am to 12 noon at the funeral home.
