Born on August 26, 1986 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of Angela Staley and Kenneth Carr.
Shadaya grew up in Albany and attended Albany Public schools. She was currently studying to obtain her New York State Real Estate Salesperson License.
Her interests include cooking, hair and baking. Her favorite color was purple, her favorite sport was volleyball, and she loved to play spades, sing, and draw.

A Homegoing service will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, June 18 at The Lord’s House of Deliverance Baptist Church, 298 St. Agnes Highway, Cohoes. Rev. Kimberly Hall will officiate. A calling hour will be held from 11am to 12 Noon prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery followed by a repass will be held at 217 Central Ave, Albany.
