Albany - On July 16, 2021 the Angels of God escorted our beloved Selina Andrews-Royal to her eternal home with her Heavenly Father.
Selina was born June 5, 1974 to Charlene Andrews and Lester Royal. Selina was educated in the Albany Public School System where she met many friends that loved her and embraced her, all the way up until the time of her sudden passing. Selina later on went to college and received her Associates degree in Human Service. Selina had a passion and love for troubled children and she worked for the Glenmont job Corps for many years. After retiring her work at Glenmont Job Corps, Selina became employed at the VA hospital where she was employed up until the time of her death. Selina Royal was an amazing woman of God. Selina knew the Lord and she excepted Christ as her personal Savior. Selina loved to spend time with family and friends. Selina was an amazing event planner, Selina could put any party together and make it look like Royalty. Selina was born to beautify the world and that’s exactly what she did. Everything she touch she made beautiful even her children. Selina leaves to cherish her memory her spouse Kalvin Buffalo, her mother Charlene Andrews and her father Lester Royal her children:
Roqueisha Lawson, Shinasha Lawson, Kasod Lawson, Karizma Scott and Kashyra Lewis. Her grandchildren
Keymaya Lawson, Zyinaisha Bowen , Elisha Bowen, Sanaai Boggs, John Lawson, Kiara Lawson, Iaanas Boggs, Elias Bowen, Kasod Lawson Jr.
Karter Williams, Kyrie Lawson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Selina was Pre-deceased in death by her grandmother: Bernice Foulks.
A Celebration of Selina life will be held at the Elijah Missionary Church: 74 2nd Ave., Albany, NY 12202 (Bishop Avery Comithier)
