Rosemarie T. Moran

ALBANY – Rosemarie T. Moran, 70, of Albany, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was born in Albany and is the daughter of the late Charles D’Amico and Helen Pagoda.

Rose was a 1972 graduate of Mercy High School. She was a devoted mother and never missed any of her son’s activities and sporting events. She thoroughly enjoyed the role of Nanny and Gramma. Rosemarie was an active member of the Polish Citizens Club in Albany. She was an avid fan of the Beatles and Sir Paul McCartney. She enjoyed vacationing in Cape Cod every summer.

Rosemarie is the cherished mother of Jared C. (Courtney) Moran and Seamus (Felicia) Moran. She is the loving grandmother of Emily and Olivia. Rose is the former wife of James Moran. Rose is the sister of Helen Sowek and the late Nicholas D’Amico. She is the niece of Irene VanFonda and the late Thomas and Mary Casey. Rose is the dear cousin of Melissa Faas, Sharon Duker and Tommy Casey.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rosemarie’s family on Friday, December 29th from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 30th at 9:30 am at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204. Following the services, all are invited to join with the family at the Polish Community Center, 110 Commerce Ave, Albany NY 12206 as we continue to celebrate Rosemarie’s life.
