Robert J. Ogborn

COLONIE - Robert J. Ogborn, 69, of Colonie, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 after a long illness.

He was born in Albany and is the son of the late Donald J. Ogborn Sr. and Susie Scaligeri Ogborn. Bob was an Insulator with Local 40, Heat and Frost Insulators in Albany. He was a meticulous handyman. Bob was a lifetime member of the Albany County Fish & Game Club. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle.

He is the beloved husband of forty-one years to Kathy Ogborn. Bob is the devoted father of Robert J. Ogborn Jr. and Katlyn (Jason) Russell. He is the cherished Poppy of Calliope Mae and Sawyer Jayce. Bob is the brother of Donald (Lynn) Ogborn, Judith Ogborn and the late Richard Ogborn. He is the brother-in-law of James (Peg) Christian and Lori (Tucker) Jubic. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Relatives and friends may visit with Bob’s family on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie.
