Richard F. “Rich” Emans,71, of Emans Road passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Albany Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Born in LaGrangeville, NY, he was the son of Francis and Thelma Emans.

A lifelong resident of the area Poughkeepsie area, he was graduate of Arlington High School.

He was the owner and operator of Emans Construction for many years.

Rich enjoyed many cultural and social events throughout the year.

He leaves his mother Thelma Emans of Poughkeepsie; a son Jason (Susan) Emans of Albany, NY and daughter Amanda Emans of Mableton, GA; a granddaughter Jaqueline; an aunt Violet Vaill of Virginia and several cousins.

A service will be held later this fall at the family homestead. Please contact Jason or Amanda for more details.
