SCHENECTADY – Peter F. Green, 60, of Schenectady, passed away suddenly on Monday August 07, 2023. Born in Albany, he was raised in East Greenbush and was the son of the late Edward and Dolores Petrycki Green.

Pete worked as a welder for many years and more recently as a Senior Designer with Electrical Consultants. He was a self-taught mechanical and engineering guru. Pete was a hardworking and conscientious associate, always ready to help others.  A great Dad and a gentle soul, Pete was kind, fun and loyal. He enjoyed drive-ins, science fiction and animals. Pete was a car enthusiast and never stopped looking for his next vehicle.

Peter is the beloved husband of 35 years to Janice Green. He is the cherished father of Emily Green (John Hondro), Cody Green (Sydney Moyer) and Austin Green. He is the dear brother of Marian (William) Mielke, Therese (Tom) Hayes, Anne (Jim) Campbell and Tim (Lily) Green. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pete’s family on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. There will be an opportunity for sharing and remembrances at 7:00 pm.
