Peter J. Chrisikos

LOUDONVILLE - Peter Chrisikos, 88 passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Gargalianoi, Greece on March 20,1934.  He was the son of the late Dimitrios and Antonia (Scouteris) Chrisikos of Greece.

Peter immigrated to the US in 1954 settling in Albany where he met his late wife Eugenia (Jean) Demopoulos. Together they owned and operated the Eagle Restaurant for 40 years until their retirement in 1997.  In his retirement Peter enjoyed spending time with his family as well as tending to his many vegetable gardens and grape arbor.

Peter is survived by his son James of Vernon, CT; son Anthony (Debbie) of Colonie, NY; grandchildren Laura (Charles) of Swanton, VT; Peter of East Windsor, CT; Devan and Drue of Colonie, NY and Taylor (Nicole) of Somerville, MA as well as many nieces and nephews both here and in Greece.

Funeral services were held privately.  Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
