Pauline E. Rodd

COLONIE – Pauline E. Rodd, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 15, 2018, just two days after her 92nd birthday.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Peter and Hazel Krause. Pauline was predeceased by her husband John W. Rodd Sr. and her siblings, Peter G. Krause, Dorothy G. Zandy and David W. Krause.

She had worked for many years as accounting clerk at Sears in Colonie. She enjoyed her winters at the Pelican Condos in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Pauline maintained her lawn with tremendous pride and joy. She enjoyed boating and bowling.

Pauline is the beloved mother of John W. (Pat) Rodd Jr., Terry L. (Susan) Rodd and Deborah Connor. She is the cherished grandmother of Erin Loveday, Nicole Meacham, Matthew Rodd, Jennifer Rodd, Carrie Hogan, Casey Connor and Lindsey Carmody. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:30 am at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pauline’s family on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
