Patricia A. Lynch

COLONIE – Patricia A. Lynch, 86, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY and was the daughter of the late Michael and Florence Marker Connolly. Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Donald J. Lynch.

She was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory Academy and Marymount College. Pat entered the convent in 1954 and was a Sister of Mercy in Dobbs Ferry, NY for eighteen years. A longtime elementary school teacher, Pat’s career spanned over fifty years with a majority of her time at St. Joseph’s School in Bronxville, NY. She had a tremendous sense of humor and enjoyed traveling, photography and volunteering.

Pat is the devoted mother of Maureen (Jim) Splonskowski and Kevin (Rachele) J. Lynch. She is the cherished Mimi of Brendan, Sean and Elizabeth. Pat is the sister of the late Esther Curtis, Michael Connolly Jr., Gwendolyn Connolly and Joan Goodsir.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00 at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumite Rd. Loudonville. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10 to 11 at the Church. Pat will be entombed alongside her husband Donald in No. Myrtle Beach, SC.
