Patricia N. King

October 17, 1938 — April 18, 2024

GLENS FALLS - Patricia N. King, 85, of Glens Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Washington Center in Argyle.

She was born in West Orange, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late John and Blanche Nichtern. Pat attended Archbishop Walsh High School and diligently attended night school for ten years at Seton Hall University to earn her Bachelor’s degree.  She was a voracious reader and loved being by the water, whether it was by the lake or down the shore. Pat was a devout Catholic and thoroughly enjoyed sharing her faith with all denominations.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John King. Pat is the cherished mother of Kathleen (Bill) Gathen of Niskayuna and John King of Glens Falls. She is the sister of John (Kathleen) Nictern of Melbourne, FL. Pat is the grandmother of Jack and Adam Gathen and Natalie King. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patricia’s family on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:00 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, Union Street, Niskayuna. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
