COLONIE – Patricia A. Gosch, 67, of Colonie, passed away on Saturday August 18, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospice surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Kingston and is the daughter of Gladys Kinane and the late Joseph Kinane. A 1968 graduate of Guilderland High School, Pat started her career in the mailroom for New York Telephone. She met her loving husband of 42 years John at the phone company and continued with Verizon as an account clerk retiring in 1996. Pat then worked part time at the South Colonie High School where she made many friends among the staff and students.
She was a kind and loving person. Pat always greeted everyone with a smile. When invited to a party she was always asked to bring her famous eggs. She was an avid Yankees fan. Pat cherished her life long friend, Linda Wells of Kingston and her many friends and members of the Capital District Elks Lodges, especially the ladies of the Rotterdam Elks. She enjoyed her favorite restaurants, the Purple Pub and Otis & Olivers. She always enjoyed socializing with friends from Dee Dee’s Tavern and spending Sunday afternoons with Chef Paul at the Boathouse on Lake George. More recently, she enjoyed spending time at her new cottage in the 1000 islands where she was a friend and member of the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY.
Pat is survived by her devoted husband John E. Gosch; her loving siblings, Joanne (Terrence) Barlow, James (Nancy) Kinane and Colleen (Scott) Pariseau; her cherished Bichons, Maggie May, Maddie Rose and Captain Sully. She is loving aunt of Erin (Adam) DeSantis, Bryan, Brittany and Kayla Pariseau, James (Angie) Kinane Jr. and Kristin (Brock) Willey. Several grand nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:15 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie then to Christ the King Church, Guilderland at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pat’s family on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 5:00 to offer service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be Our Lady, Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.
