Norma J. Alger

COLONIE - Norma J. Alger, 83, of Colonie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Hospice of Ocala, Florida after a brief illness.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Norman E. Fink and Anita L. Harris. Norma was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Ronald Alger.

Norma filled her home with love and comfort. She instilled strong family values, and she loved being Mema to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norma loved to observe her family, enjoying the fruits of their labor at the family camp and at home. She was more than generous to those in need. Norma was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, smiling as she departed this earth and entered heaven. She will be dearly missed by her cherished family and friends.

Norma is the beloved mother of Rhonda (John) Cooper, Pamela (Phillip) White, Ronald (Teresa) Alger, Melissa Alger and June (Sean) Murphy. She is the sister of Norman E. Fink, Katie (Danny) Garvin, Peter (Laura) Anderson and the late Dawn M. Ruede. Norma is the Mema of Katilyn (Paul) Fusco, Sagan and Matthew Rockenstyre, Tristan Ng, Kyle, Brent, MaKenzie and Tyler White, Sean, Jordan and McKenna Murphy. She is the great grandmother of Adriana, Anthony, Kaiden, Kennedi, Cambree, Zoey, Taylor, Parker, Jaxon, Isabella, Ethan, Zen, Orion, Violet and Miles.

Funeral services will be Saturday November 04, 2023 at 11:00 am at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am, prior to the service.
