Nicholas Blaze R. Syron

Nicholas Blaze R. Syron, 40, of Princetown passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Westchester Medical Center.

Nick was born on July 7, 1982 in Niskayuna, NY to Debbie O'Connor and Jeff Syron. He was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools.

Over the years, Nick worked at the Guilderland Public Library doing building maintenance, a few local car dealerships as a service advisor, and at his family's store Syron's Market in Duanesburg. He also had a passion for nature and could often be found working outside landscaping.

Nick enjoyed bowling, golfing, cooking and grilling elaborate meals, collecting things that did not work and fixing them, mowing the lawn, listening to the Rat Pack, vintage snowmobiles, cars, and spending time outdoors especially in the Adirondacks.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Joralemon-Syron and their cat Camper; mother Debbie O'Connor (Jim); father Jeff Syron (Katie); in-laws Paul and Janet Joralemon; grandmother Mary Ann Reith; grandfather Joe Syron; twin brothers Trevor Syron (Christine Bell) and Stephen Syron (Taylor); step-brothers Nick O'Connor (Katelynn) and Matt O'Connor (Lauren); brother-in-law Scott Joralemon (Heather); along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close family friends. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Joan Syron; and grandfather, Gerald Rieth.

The family will hold a memorial service that is open to family and friends on Tuesday, May 9th from 4-6pm at Cannon Funeral Home at 2020 Central Ave. Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
