Neil C. Rueckert

LOUDONVILLE – Neil C. Rueckert, 58, of Loudonville, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 12, 2018. He is the beloved husband of 34 years to Joan Klapp Rueckert. Neil is the devoted father of Kyle F. (Elizabeth) Rueckert and Paige C. Rueckert. He is the son of Jessie Cameron Rueckert and the late Frederick C. Rueckert. Neil is the brother of Carl (Joan) Rueckert and Jody (Joe) Anson. He is the son in law of Louis A. Klapp (late Dolores) and brother in law of Lou (Joanne) Klapp. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He will be dearly missed by his good buddy, Giggs.

Neil was the Northeast Facilities Manager for Verizon for over thirty years. He worked in the same capacity more recently with Cushman & Wakefield. Neil was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. He was dedicated to his cherished family, his home and his yard. He especially enjoyed reading, restoration projects and vacations with his family in Hatteras, NC.

Funeral services will be Monday morning at 11:00 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Neil’s family on Sunday from 3 to 6 pm at Cannon Funeral Home.
