Michael S. Emerick

Michael S. Emerick, 37, of Plaske Drive, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021.

Born on May 27, 1984 in Albany, NY, he was the son of Steven Emerick and Frances A. Rozniewski.

Michael grew up in Colonie and was a 2002 graduate of South Colonie High School.

He then attended SUNY New Paltz, graduating in 2007.

He was employed at General Electric in Schenectady as a project manager in the Human Resources Department.

He enjoyed golf, bowling, collecting gadgets, playing fantasy golf and football and was an avid NY Giants and NY Mets fan.

He leaves his mother Frances “Fran” (Walter) Jones and father Steven (Michele) Emerick all of Colonie; sisters: Jennifer Emerick and Courtney Jones both of Colonie, and Kelsey Emerick of Mechanicville; a brother Ryan Connelly-Carr of Brooklyn as well as several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Michael is the grandson of the late Joseph and Anne Rozniewski, and Raymond and Catherine Emerick.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am Saturday, June 5 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Colonie. Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, June 4 at the funeral home.
