Meredith L. Lyon

COLONIE – Meredith Lynne Lyon, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023. She was born in Munich Germany while her father was stationed in the military.

Meredith graduated from SUNY Albany with a PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2006 and opened her own practice in 2008. She subsequently received specialized training in trauma and PTSD. She enjoyed working with her clients and helping them find relief.

Meredith enjoyed playing classical piano and singing with her husband. She also enjoyed kayaking, the Jersey Shore and cherished time with family.

We would like to thank the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care in her final days.

She is survived by her husband Robert Lyon; her mother Sandra Miley of Sherill, NY; and family Brad Miley and Sandra Zapf of Quakertown, PA; Glenn and Janice Miley of Sherill, NY; Rachel and James Brady of Sherill, NY; and Kerry Miley and Tim Walsh of Philadelphia, PA.

Services will be private and held at a future date convenient to the family.
