Melvin J. Bushey

GUILDERLAND – Melvin J. Bushey, 78, of Guilderland, passed away on Saturday, January 05, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Plattsburgh and was the son of the late Ernest and Catherine Bushey.

Melvin was a painter with State University @ Albany for many years. He was a life member of the Westmere Fire Dept and several Fireman Associations.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Huguette Bourdon Bushey; two daughters, Chantal (Richard) Judeikis and Lisa (Rufus) Canty; his grandchildren, Donovan, Piper and Regan. He is the brother of Carol Edwards, Sandy Turner and the late Thomas and Gaylor Bushey, Ruth Peryer and Nila McCorkel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave., Guilderland, NY at 10:00am.
