In 1960 a home and acreage were purchased, and this would become Ray-Mar Tree Farm, a choose and cut Christmas Tree Farm still active today. The farm was perfect for Raymond’s love of arboriculture, Maryann’s love of growing flowers’ and endless hours of adventures for their children. Over time the farm became a great gathering place, as neighbor’s children were always welcomed to join the game of the day. Memorial Day celebrations took place for over thirty years where all were welcome and Raymond and Maryann thoroughly enjoyed the company of their guests.
