ALBANY – Mary T. Wilson, of Albany, NY, died peacefully of natural causes on July 27, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Mary was born in Johnson City, NY and was the daughter of the late George and Katherine Wilson. She moved to Albany after accepting a position as a Trainer with Xerox Corporation. After retiring, Mary volunteered her time and devotion to St. Francis Chapel. She was a big believer in helping others less fortunate by making donations for several foundations, including Schenectady City Mission, Wounded Warriors, Catholic Charities, Puppies behind Bars, Little Sisters of the Poor and more. She was extremely proud to have sponsored thirty nine Ordinations of Native Priests with the Missionary Rosebushes of Therese.
Mary is survived by many dear friends who gave of themselves selflessly during her time here on earth.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave., Guilderland, NY 12203. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.
