September 21, 1947 — February 8, 2023

COLONIE – Mary T. Dryer, 75, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Dryer. Mary was a lifelong resident of the Village of Colonie and enjoyed the many events at Cook Park including concerts and community celebrations, always with her beloved dog, Ellie.

Mary was employed as a secretary with the New York State Office of the Attorney General for over forty years. She enjoyed traveling with her family, visiting numerous countries throughout the years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Clare’s Church.

Mary is the dear friend of Susan Bredice, Margaret Vella and Krystal Maisonet. Special thanks to Dr. Chris Wong and Dr. Anthony Jones for their kind and compassionate care of Mary.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 at St. Clare’s Church, 1947 Central Ave. Colonie. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10  to 11 am at St. Clare’s Church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
