Mary M. Carbonare

West Albany – Mary M. Carbonare, 79, of West Albany, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late William and Mary Krolak Ruth. Mary had worked as an office manager for the former Ruch Distributors. More recently, she was a real estate agent for Weichert Realtors. Mary and her husband Sam enjoyed traveling with their dear friends Tony and Judy.

She is the beloved wife of sixty years to Sam Carbonare. Mary is the cherished Mother of Susan Saddlemire (Bob) and Debbie Sciotti (Darren Curtis). She is the sister of the late George H. Ruth. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mary will be dearly missed by her feline companion, Elliott and her canine grandsons, Oakley and Curly.

Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 am at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary’s family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
