ALBANY – Marilyn J. Dorr Primeau, 78, of Colonie, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Peter’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Matthew and Pauline Fisher Dorr. Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald J. Primeau Jr. in 2013. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was filled with the joy of her cherished children and grandchildren. Marilyn enjoyed knitting, crocheting and camping with her family. She was a longtime member of the Fuller Road Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa (Michael) O’Keefe of Loudonville, Cynthia Calabrese of Colonie and Lori (Daniel) Kunker of Latham. Marilyn is the cherished grandmother of Taylor and Hailee Calabrese, Katelyn and Erin O’Keefe, and Daniel and Matthew Kunker. She is the sister of the late Rita Hatlee and Carol Denno. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Marilyn’s family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Peter’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their kind and compassionate care. They offer their sincerest gratitude and appreciation.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00  pm at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory Marilyn J. Primeau.
