ALBANY -  Marie C. McCreary, 54, of Albany passed away on Thursday, October 06, 2022 at Albany Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born in Albany and is the cherished daughter of Jeanne Applebee Connors and the late Henry Clas Jr.  Marie is the beloved wife of Paul S. McCreary.  She is the devoted sister of April Clas (John Cochran).  Marie is the stepmother of Alaina McCreary and the aunt of Haley Crast.  She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Marie was a graduate of Albany High School, Maria College and Hudson Valley Community College.  Marie was an Ultrasound Technologist with the CareNet Medical Group.  She was a life-long learner and an avid reader.  She enjoyed her feline companions and gardening. Marie was a passionate football fan and followed the San Francisco 49ers.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marie’s family on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 12 noon to 1:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie.  A Memorial Service in Celebration of Marie’s life will be offered at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and/or Toys for Tots.  To leave a message of condolence for the family, visit www.CannonFuneral.com.
