Margaret "Peggy" M. Hill

Margaret Mary “Peggy” Hill, 99, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 after a brief illness at Our Lady of Mercy in Guilderland.

Born on October 31, 1924 in Avis, Pa, she was the daughter of John and Filomena (Pirone) Mason.

Margaret grew up in Albany and was a graduate of Albany High School.

She retired as a secretary from the Narcotic and Drug Research Company in Colonie.

She was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church in Albany.  She was a member of the Albany Elks Lodge and she also volunteered at the Polish American Citizens Center in Albany.

Her past times included crocheting, reading, and cooking. She was an avid Buffalo Bills Fan.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband James Hill (1979); brothers Carmine, Ernest, Chester, and Joseph Mason and a sister Emily Ciprioni.

She leaves a sister Virginia Mason and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews as well as many caring neighbors.

Friends and family may attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be held at 9am Saturday, December 16 at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead Street, Albany.
