Lounelle Jefferson

ALBANY  - Lounelle Jefferson, 79, passed away on February 11, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband Roosevelt Jefferson.

She is the mother of James Buchanan and Sheila Jefferson. Sister of Velma (James) Ferrell and Alexander Buchanan. She is also survived by her aunt, Vella Nelson and several cherished grandchildren.

The family offers special thanks to St. Peter’s Hospital and the Hospice Care Unit.

Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 pm at The Lord House of Deliverance Baptist Church, 298 St. Agnes Highway, Cohoes, with Rev. Kimberly C. Hall, Senior Pastor, officiating. Viewing will be from 11-12 at the Church. Face masks  are required and social distancing will be observed.  Interment, Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
