Louis G. Lourinia

COLONIE – Louis G. Lourinia, 69, of the Village of Colonie, passed away on
Tuesday, May 23, 2023 after a brief illness.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late George and Mary (Nuzzi)
Lourinia. Lou was employed for many years and with the Village of Colonie and
also at the Times Union Center. He was a lifetime member of the Colonie Village
Fire Company where he had served as Director, President and Sgt at Arms. Lou
was an Ass’t Scout Master. He enjoyed camping and helping others without
hesitation.
Lou is the beloved husband of forty-four years to Judy Coulter Lourinia. He is the
devoted father of Kevin (Jessica) Lourinia. Lou is the nephew of Jessie Nuzzi. He is
the grandfather of the late Piper Lourinia. Lou is the brother of the late Iona Allen
and Elizabeth Richards. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and
cousins. Lou will be dearly missed by his canine companion, Freddie.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lou’s family on Tuesday, May 30 th
from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer
service will be offered at 7:00 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may
