Lois M. Ahl

COLONIE – Lois M. Ahl, 92, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Shaker Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna Kruse. Lois was a lifelong Colonie resident. She was a talented musician, playing the accordion with the DelTrio band. She retired from Sears & Roebuck Co. Lois had a wonderful appreciation for nature and loved to feed the birds. She was a member of the Thunder Rd. Colonie Seniors.

Lois was predeceased by her husband Foster D. Ahl. She is the cherished mother of Allen Ahl, Connie J. McIntyre, William Ahl, Carol (Michael) Cramer, Kathleen Wohlferd and the late James Ahl. Lois is the sister of Donald Kruse and Henry “Sonny” Kruse. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
