Linda A. Weidman

PETERSBURGH – Linda A. Weidman, 66 of Petersburgh, New York passed away suddenly on Friday, February 16, 2018.  She is the beloved wife of 35 years to Edward R. Weidman. Linda is the devoted mother of Camille Rivera and stepsons, Ed (Sarah) Weidman Jr. and Eric (Julie) Weidman.   She is the daughter of the late John and Lorraine McNulty of Smithtown, New York.  She is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Bellino of Silver Springs, Maryland and is the sister of John McNulty Jr. of San Francisco, California.    Linda is the proud grandmother of Peter Rivera (Islip, NY), James (Paige) Bartram (Canandaigua, NY), Paige and Maddox Weidman (Colonie, NY), Caiden and Brooklyn Weidman (Port Richey, FL).  She will be missed by many other relatives and friends as well. Linda was born in Queens, New York and grew up in Hicksville and Smithtown on Long Island.  Linda was a passionate and  talented artist and worked as a registered nurse throughout her early career in New York City, Long Island and the Virginia Eastern Shore. She met and married her devoted and loving husband, Edward Weidman through a friend at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Aquebogue, NY and soon thereafter were blissfully married in Woodhaven, NY.   Multiple moves to Upstate New York and Virginia provided her new subjects for artwork, home remodeling, decoration, gardening and travel.  Linda will be remembered for her friendly smile, concern for people and animals, amazing artistic abilities and love for her family.
