Linda A. Thompson

COLONIE – Linda A. Thompson, 73, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2023 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

She was born in Plattsburgh and was the daughter of the late Halsey and Evelyn Rosio. Linda was a file clerk at the New York State Department of State, Division of Licensing Services. She enjoyed bowling. Linda created wonderful blankets and unique gifts from her crocheting, sewing and craft talents.

Linda is the beloved wife of 53 years to Jerry Thompson. She is the devoted mother of Mike (Melissa) Thompson, Evelyn Leonhardt (Sean Bracken) and Jennifer (Joe) Murray. She is the sister of Theresa Turnbull, Bernie Rosio and the late Frank and Jim Rosio. Linda is the cherished Mimi of Jordan, John, Kara, Emily, Liam and Ashley.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Linda’s family on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 am at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
