Kenneth A. Nickolai

Albany – Kenneth Nickolai, 76, of Albany, died November 9, 2024 in Albany. He was formerly from Minnesota. Ken was the son of the late Kenneth and Janet Nielsen Nickolai and brother of the late Douglas and Susan.

Ken was a graduate of Duke University Law School and spent most his career practicing law for state government. Before retirement, he was Chief Administrative Law Judge and a Commissioner of Public Utilities.

Survivors include his beloved husband Ned Tenney, his stepson Matthew Tenney and a nephew, Thomas Sommer. There will be no local services. Memorial services will be held in Florida in early January.
