Judith C. Forst

COLONIE - Judith C. Forst, 76, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 03, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Zehner. Judi was predeceased by her husband James Forst Sr. and her brother Edward Zehner.

She is the beloved mother of Ruth (Tony Thompson) Forst, James (Susie) Forst Jr. and Michael (Gina) Forst. Judi is the sister of Ken Zehner (late Tootsie). She is the cherished grandmother of Kristin (Tim) Casey, Kacy (Mark Gray) Thompson, Steven Thompson, Carolynn (Deven Gerow) Forst, Brandon (Sierra White) Forst, Ali (Andrew) Yanna, Michael and Madison Forst. Great Grandma of Dylan, Kylie, Peyton and Sawyer. Judi is the Godmother of Karen Lettus and Brian Fleshman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Anyone who knew Judi, knew her kindness and her great sense of humor. She made friends everywhere she went.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Judi’s family on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm.
