MALTA – Judith (Judy) Konieczny Clark, 81, of Malta, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital.
Judy was born in Niskayuna, NY to the late Stanley and Genevieve Konieczny. She is survived by her daughters, Jacquie Clark (Don Ball) and JoeAnne Tully (Jim), her grandchildren Joshua and Natalia Ball and Caitlin and Fiona Tully, and her longtime partner John Camileo and his children and grandchildren.
Judy was a loving and devoted caregiver to everyone in her personal life and work. After graduating from Mohonasen High School and Mildred Elley Secretarial School, she worked in many professions in which her kindness and compassion were most needed: volunteering in a rescue squad as an EMT, working in a hospital and nursing home, providing home health care, helping children with special needs as a bus monitor for Mohonasen, and using her excellent cooking skills as a kitchen supervisor in the Burnt Hills School district.
Judy had a great capacity for love, and she shared it freely and unconditionally. She was quick to forgive and never lost her faith in God or in people. She put people at ease and was quick with a kind word or joke with friends and strangers alike. Her love and compassion extended to animals, whether it was one of the many beloved pets she owned throughout her life, the stray cats she tended to, or even injured birds.
Judy loved music, playing piano when she was younger, penned funny stories about living, and shared her love of music and writing with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed word games, murder mysteries, and old movies, and being silly with her children, who she taught how to dance in the kitchen. Even after working two or three jobs she found time to enjoy life and make the people around her happy. Judy was an extraordinary woman, and we will all miss her so much.
