Joyce M. Filkins

COLONIE – Joyce M. Filkins, 72, of Colonie, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Arnold and Anne Miller. Joyce had worked for over thirty years with Airpage Inc. in Albany as a telephone operator. She basked in the joy and pleasure of her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce enjoyed her daily challenges with crossword puzzles.
She is the beloved mother of Robin A. Weidman, Kimberly M. Filkins, Lori M. Heffner and Christine L. Mastrobuono. Joyce is the dear sister of Ann McNally, Marylou Micare, Catherine Miller and the late Barbara Maguire. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joyce’s family on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie.
