Joyce D. Brustle

LOUDONVILLE – Joyce Dorothy Brustle, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Loretta Mayakis.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband William Brustle and her sisters Jane and Carol. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Raucci; her sons, Steve (Wendy) Brustle and Gary (Alma) Brustle; her sister Gail (Kevin) O’Hara and several grandchildren.

Joyce had worked for several years at the Times Union. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed daily walks in her neighborhood. Joyce was a longtime member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church where she was actively involved. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Teresian House for their kind and compassionate care.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Our Lady, Help of Christians Cemetery.
